Hi there, I’m Aubree.
I believe photographs become more meaningful with time.
My approach to weddings is rooted in that belief. I focus on documenting what naturally unfolds - the quiet gestures, the emotion, and the moments of celebration - so that years from now, you can come back to your photos and not just see your day, but truly feel it.
My appreciation for storytelling began early in life, especially during the time I spent living in Germany. The culture and atmosphere there shaped the way I see connection, beauty, and narrative, and that perspective continues to influence my work.
Weddings, to me, represent a profound commitment - two people choosing one another through every season of life. It’s a privilege to document that experience, and I value building genuine connections with my couples so I can capture their story with honesty and care.
Before photography became my career, I spent time caring for my grandmother, who had dementia. She would light up when we looked through old family photo albums - becoming more present, more like herself. In those moments, she remembered. It showed me how powerful photographs can be in helping us reconnect with memories that might otherwise feel distant or lost.
That experience shaped the way I see photography. To me, images are more than something to look at - they’re a way to hold onto moments that would otherwise pass too quickly. They allow us to return to the people, emotions, and memories that matter most, again and again.
Fun fact: my second shooter is usually my husband/ best friend/ photographer extraordinaire
More than anything, I want you to feel seen, comfortable, and fully present on your wedding day. I’ll offer direction and guidance when you need it, but never in a way that pulls you out of the moment. Your day should still feel fully like your own, with space to be present with the people you love and let the moments in between unfold naturally.
A wedding is not only about celebrating your relationship. It is also one of the rare times when so many of the people you love are together in one place. I pay attention to those relationships, the energy you share, and the details that make the celebration yours - so everyone feels cared for, not just as clients, but as people.
